Meet the WholeHealth Team

 

Cat is cook, coach and coordinator of the WholeHealth Getaways.

With coaching qualifications in swim, bike and run, Cat has been a keen triathlete for over 10 years. She currently coaches at TFN Tri Club in Nottingham, Long Eaton JuniorTri Club  and JuniorTriCamp, as well as coaching the WholeHealth novice triathlon team. Her special interest is cooking healthy food to fuel active healthy bodies.

 

Coach, support and safety organiser,  Anthony is ‘Mr Whole Health’

A qualified triathlon coach and run leader, Anthony plans and supports the Getaways including his vital role driving the ride support vehicle!

A keen trail runner and triathlete, he coaches juniors at Long Eaton Junior Triathlon Club each week, and at Junior Tri Camp

 

Coach Verity is a BTF Qualified Triathlon coach and experienced age group triathlete. 

A very handy person to have around in case of mechanical failures, Verity loves tinkering with bikes, and building her own.

Herself a keen triathlete, she is also a supportive and enthusiastic Level Two BTF Triathlon Coach for Long Eaton Triathlon Club

Verity says:

“I coach because I enjoy seeing others do more than they think they can”

 

University of Nottingham triathlete and coach Sam Broomhead joins us as a WholeHealth ride leader in 2018 for our Pyrenean Getaway. 

 

Sam says:

“I’m an experienced triathlete having competed for over 7 years including at world championship level. I also have experience working with children as a swimming teacher and have spent many hours planning and leading rides with the uni of Nottingham triathlon club. I hope you’ll find me friendly and approachable and I look forward to meeting you in the Pyrenees!”

Enjoying the view on cycling training camp

Will Bloomer joins us as Ride Leader for our Summer 2018 WholeHealth Getaway. Will is currently studying for his masters degree in Physics at Nottingham University, and has been competing in triathlon since he was 16.

Will is a ride leader and swim coach at the University of Nottingham Triathlon Club, as well as a swim teacher teaching all ages.

Will says:

“Since I discovered triathlon it has been a massive part of my life. Through triathlon I have made many friends and had many memorable experiences”

Anja is a Level 4 sports massage therapist at The Anja Touch, and is also currently studying yoga. She is a keen runner, cyclist, outdoor swimmer and stand up paddle boarder.

Anja joins us a masseuse and instructor on our inaugural Girl’s Getaway

Anja says:

“I’m very excited to join the WholeHealth team on their first women only cycling holiday. I look forward to being with like-minded girls being out doing what we love and supporting each other to achieve great things”
