SAFE, SUPPORTED AND COACHED OPEN WATER SWIMMING
WholeHealth runs safe, supported open water swim sessions for our members at the City Council-owned Colwick Lake in Nottingham.
We pride ourselves on our professional, attentive, inclusive sessions, delivered by experienced open water swimmers; Coach Wales, English Channel swimmer, and Coach Cat, long distance and age group triathlete. And we believe it should be fun!
You must be a member to swim with us for your health and safety. You can choose your swim membership type here
Swim sessions are £6 for Open Water Swim Members, and £5 for our Annual Affiliate Members.
You can also buy bundles of credits in our app to enjoy savings on your swims.
Our Mindfulness Dips and regular beginner sessions are available to try before paying for membership for up to two sessions.

WholeHealth runs Open Water swim sessions at Colwick Lake. These are currently subject to Covid-19 restrictions, so there will be NO access to changing rooms, NO wetsuit hire or loan, and swimmers must abide by social distancing guidelines.
All swimmers must be WholeHealth Open Water Swim Members and agree to a swim disclaimer prior to attending the swim session

Our Swim Session times from 30th March are:
- Tuesday Loop Swim 5pm-7pm
- Tuesday Beginners Swim 6:30pm***
- Wednesday Morning Swim 8am -9am
- Wednesday Mindfulness Dip 10:00am – 11:00am and 12noon-1pm**
- Thursday Loop Swim 5pm-7pm
- Friday Early Morning Swim 7am-9am*
- Friday Mindfulness Dip 10:00am – 11am and 12noon-1pm**
- Saturday Daytime Swim 1pm -3pm*
- Sunday Morning Swim 10am-12noon*

Sessions will run year-round, including chill swims from October to March, swim times will change during this period to reflect demand.
*Our Loop Swim sessions offer the opportunity for up to 2 hours swimming, with a long course loop of 600m, watched over by our experienced and friendly lifeguard team.
**Our Mindfulness Dips are for swimmers who want a quieter dip for relaxation and meditation in the company of others, with our team to take care of your safety in the water while you enjoy the Lake however you want to. This new swim opportunity is designed for people who wish to immerse and enjoy the lake for peace and restoration, rather than swimming laps.
***Our Beginners Swim is a gentle 30-45 minute introduction to Open Water session with coaches and water safety team on hand to give tips, advice, encouragement and support
